The hunter and the hunted.
Pursuer, the second track on Insignificant Memories, draws influence from older thrash and traditional heavy metal tracks, which is evident in its more mid-tempo feel and tonal vocals. The song describes, loosely, a contracted hitman that serves as the law in a lawless world; he cleans up the mess that everyone else makes. The main riff of the song is simplistic in it's creation, as it was the first riff I had ever written myself; it was a small beginning to something much bigger.
