about

So who has the will to play god?
At 190 BPM, One Above All is the fastest track on Insignificant Memories. The song focuses on the concepts of control and modern leaders, and it plays on how our leaders are becoming more and more manipulative through new and old tactics. This song is not a political statement; it is just a view on the current state of reality. One Above All was originally the last song on the album, and it was also the last song to be written (the codename for the track at the time was "last riff").

lyrics

Controlling the masses, the mind of the hive
Kept underneath your thumb; keep the machine alive
Manipulator: what you are and what you'll always be
Pulling strings from walls of gold, your immunity

Figureheads
Collapsers
Parasites
And dark dealers

The hands of the deceiver
Silence the non-believer
The price of progress takes its toll
How far will you go to control

So who has the will to play god?

Say what they want to hear, all fantasized
False promises and empty words; they're hypnotized
Your hand shall be the one to end singularity
United under the death of self, the new reality

Figureheads
Collapsers
Same regime
New leaders

The will of the kings
The one above all things
The price of progress takes its toll
How far will you go to control

So who has the will to play god?

Indoctrination of false narrative
Shall destroy all true perspective

The price of progress takes its toll
How far will you go to control

So who has the will to play god?
