Now face your kingdom-come.
Born of Man was the second single released from Insignificant Memories, and it is the 4th song on the album. This song draws on the styles of heavier, doom metal-esque tracks, the likes of Sad But True by Metallica and other songs such as Servitude by Sylosis. The meaning behind the song is fairly straightforward, detailing how mankind has doomed itself and that we create our own nightmares - and only we can face them. This is one of the few songs I wrote lyrics first, and then I created the riffs. Inspiration for said lyrics came from the strangest of places; I thought of them while watching a Vinesauce livestream. Ultimately, it led to the creation of a powerfully heavy song.
